Heather has experience in the preparation and prosecution of pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent applications. Heather also has extensive practical experience in the field of biotechnology having served for over six years at Heska Corporation (achieving the title of Senior Director of Product Materials Development) directing various groups in process development of recombinant proteins and antibodies for use in various diagnostic platforms. Heather also served for five years in the area of pharmaceutical drug research and development as a Chemistry Group Leader and Manager of Process Chemistry at Cortech, Inc., performing synthesis, characterization and purification of small organic molecules, unusual amino acids, synthetic peptides and bioconjugates.
