Jeff Blake is a partner in the Atlanta office, where his practice involves all aspects of intellectual property litigation and counseling. Jeff's experience includes representation of clients in the pharmaceutical and electrical arts at trial and on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Jeff has represented major pharmaceutical companies in numerous litigations brought under the Hatch-Waxman Amendments to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and in Section 337 actions before the U.S. International Trade Commission. He also has represented electronics companies in patent infringement litigation involving semiconductor circuitry, telephony, microprocessor hardware and software, network security and automotive airbag deployment software.

In addition, Jeff has litigated multiple copyright infringement actions, negotiated the licensing of patent portfolios and gained experience in misuse of internet domain names under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.

Takeda Pharmaceuticals, et al. v. Teva Pharmaceuticals, et al. (District of Delaware) - Represented one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies in the trial of a Hatch-Waxman case relating to the drug lansoprazole, which has an annual market of more than $3 billion.

Brigham & Women's Hospital, et al. v. Teva Pharmaceuticals, et al. (District of Delaware) - Represented one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies in the trial of a Hatch-Waxman case relating to the drug cinacalcet, which has an annual market of more than $400 million.

Takeda Pharmaceuticals, et al. v. Teva Pharmaceuticals, et al. (Southern District of New York) - Represented one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies in a Hatch-Waxman case relating to the drug pioglitazone, which has an annual market of more than $2.5 billion.

Teva Pharmaceuticals v. AstraZeneca L.P., et al. (Eastern District of Pennsylvania) - Represented one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies in enforcement of patent relating to the drug rosuvastatin. Representation included oral argument on behalf of client at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

In the Matter of Certain Alendronate Salts and Products Containing Same (U.S.I.T.C.) - Represented the defendant manufacturer of an active pharmaceutical ingredient in drugs used to treat osteoporosis in a Section 337 action before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

Texas Instruments v. Linear Technology Corp. (Eastern District of Texas) - Represented semiconductor manufacturer in patent infringement litigation relating to manufacture of semiconductor circuitry.

Premier Networks v. Lucent Technologies and AT&T (Northern District of Illinois) - Represented leading telephone companies in patent infringement litigation relating to telephone circuitry.

Via Technologies, et al. v. Intel (Western District of Texas) - Represented microprocessor manufacturer in patent infringement action relating to microprocessor hardware and software.
