Seasoned Legal Veteran Joins Firm From Winston & Strawn


Intellectual property law firm Merchant & Gould today announced that Raymond Van Dyke has joined the firm as a partner in its Washington D.C. office. Van Dyke has more than 18 years of experience counseling clients on multiple areas of IP law, including enforcement of patent protection, patent, trademark and IP licensing portfolio management, and strategic counseling and litigation.

Van Dyke's practice encompasses e-discovery and electronic information, international trade, IT and IP transactions, patent counseling and litigation, technology litigation, and trademark and copyright counseling and litigation. He holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina and his bar admissions include New York, Texas, District of Columbia and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Van Dyke is the Chair of the Greater Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Licensing Executive Society and the Chair of the Emerging Technology Committee of the AIPLA. He is also an adjunct professor at Texas Tech University and Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
