Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property and litigation law firm, announced that Luke Anderson has joined the firm as a partner in its Atlanta office.
Anderson's specialty is intellectual property litigation matters ranging from infringement actions to licensing disputes. He is an experienced trial attorney with extensive experience at the trial and appellate court levels. His patent litigation and counseling experience includes mechanical, pharmaceutical, automotive, casting, materials, banking and other technology-related areas.

Anderson received his J.D. and Master's degree from the University of South Carolina and graduated with a B.S. from Clemson University. As a member of the commercial litigation group at McGuire Woods, LLP Anderson specialized in intellectual property cases, including trademark, copyright, and patent infringement and interference actions.
