Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property and litigation law firm, announced that Robert S. Crowell and Samuel T. Lockner have joined the firm's Minneapolis office.
Robert Crowell joins the firm as its chief operating officer. He has more than 20 years experience managing operations and strategic planning at five law firms ranging in size from 80 to more than 500 attorneys. His experience spans all aspects of law firm management including finance, technology implementations, human resources and marketing. He holds a B.A. in economics from Emory University and a M.B.A. in finance and accounting form New York University.
Samuel Lockner joins Merchant & Gould as an associate. He will practice intellectual property law with a focus on trademark, copyright, trade secrets and patent litigation with the firm's litigation group. Previously, he practiced IP law at a business law firm in Minneapolis. Lockner holds a B.S. degree in genetics, cell biology and development and a J.D. from the Boston University School of Law
