Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property and litigation law firm, announced that Greg A. McAllister has joined its Minneapolis office as an associate attorney.
Greg's practice emphasizes intellectual property litigation, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights for clients in the medical device, software, and telecommunications industries. He has represented clients in Federal District court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings. Prior to Merchant & Gould, Greg worked as a Principal Research Engineer with Honeywell Inc. and a Research Scientist at Kimberly-Clark Corp.
Greg obtained his law degree from the University of Minnesota School of Law where he edited the Minnesota Law Review. He obtained an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a M.S. degree in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. Greg is licensed to practice in the State of Minnesota, the Federal Circuit and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
