Overview

Merchant & Gould partner Jeffer Ali was voted onto the Board for The Fund for the Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis, one of the nation's oldest and most highly regarded legal service programs dedicated to assuring low-income people's access to justice.

"The Legal Aid Society serves Hennepin County in a number of ways, and we want to ensure the array of legal services we currently offer the Minneapolis community will be maintained and expanded in the future," said Ali, an intellectual property litigator with Merchant & Gould in their Minneapolis office. "We will continue to support the charter of Legal Aid to provide sound legal advice and services to as many needy individuals as possible. I am excited about the contribution we can make to help people who otherwise would not have access to the legal services that they need."

Ali is a past recipient of the Volunteer Lawyers Network Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award and is past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Lawyers Network.
