Stephen is a member of the litigation practice group in Merchant & Gould’s Madison office. His practice focuses on pharmaceutical patent litigation involving claims arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act. Stephen has experience ranging from the opinion and pre-litigation stage through trial, post-trial briefing and appeal. Stephen’s pro bono service includes guardian ad litem cases and representation of asylum applicants.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in Chicago. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2009, and his B.A. in Biology from Kalamazoo College in 2005. Outside of his practice, Stephen enjoys skiing, cycling, kitesurfing, and watching Shark Tank.
