Currently the Managing Director and CEO of Merchant & Gould, Randy has been with the firm since 1976. Prior to joining the firm, he served for three years as in-house trademark counsel for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Randy has over twenty years of experience representing clients' interests in litigation. His cases have involved trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, false advertising and other Intellectual Property issues. In addition to trial practice, he has extensively counseled clients in the selection and availability of trademarks for many different businesses and industries; the policing of trademarks; and trademark infringement issues.
