John has experience in all phases of patent prosecution including counseling, patentability assessments, preparation and procurement of patents in the mechanical and medical fields, as well as reissue and reexamination of previously issued patents. In addition to his emphasis on patent prosecution, John has experience with patent infringement and validity investigations and has participated in a number of significant patent infringement litigation matters from the perspective of both a plaintiff and a defendant.

John has also counseled clients on a variety of other Intellectual Property matters including trademark procurement, usage and infringement John's practice areas include patent prosecution in the mechanical arts, patent infringement litigation, patent and trademark counseling.
