He is skilled in developing and managing patent portfolios, developing business strategies, licensing, infringement/validity studies and dispute resolution. His experience includes computer hardware and software, digital logic and circuitry, magnetic fields, mechanical technologies, and medical device technologies. John also has hands-on technical experience with both Centel Corporation and General Motors Corporation. John has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School and as editor-in-chief of the Software Law Journal.
He frequently lectures and publishes articles relating to Intellectual Property. John's practice areas include: General Intellectual Property Law; Client counseling in electrical, software and mechanical arts. John currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the NALP foundation. |
