David practices Intellectual Property Law with emphasis on mechanical patents, and has extensive experience in managing both large and small patent portfolios. A focus of his practice relates to the strategic use of patent filings to improve his client's competitive position in the marketplace in a cost effective manner. David's practice includes all aspects of client counseling in the patent field including United States and foreign patent prosecution, patent searches, patentability opinions, validity and infringement opinions, pre-litigation assessments, clearance investigations, re-design evaluations, pre-acquisition due diligence, technology transfers and general licensing matters. On behalf of his clients, David has handled appeals, re-examinations, re-issue applications and other proceedings before the United States Patent Office.
