Jon practices general Intellectual Property law with an emphasis on patent litigation. He has litigation experience involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Jon has participated in several successful appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Jon also counsels clients on Intellectual Property protection. He has worked in the following technology areas: software, integrated circuit fabrications and design, radios, medical/dental devices, oil field exploration and production, underground boring, pipe lining, chemical manufacturing, waste remediation and consumer goods. He was an invited speaker at an AIPLA mid-winter plenary session, the Intellectual Property Section of the Texas State Bar, the Houston Intellectual Property Law Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Minnesota Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Jon also was an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School and was invited to vice-chair the Intellectual Property Owners Association's Patent Law Committee.
