Mr. Conrad has represented clients in all phases of intellectual property including patent prosecution, litigation, and licensing and strategic patent portfolio development. He has extensive experience in the medical device industry and has developed patent strategies, including freedom to operate and portfolio management, for a wide variety of clients in numerous fields including orthopedics, interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, general surgery, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, blood glucose monitoring and diagnostics.

In addition to his intellectual property law experience, Mr. Conrad has co-founded and served on the boards and executive management of several medical device companies. He has actively participated in the management of medical device companies where he oversaw domestic and international clinical and regulatory activities. He also actively participated in the financing of those companies.

He has been a major contributor to the strategic product development programs for many medical device companies and he holds numerous patents and patent applications pertaining to medical device technology.
