Mr. Schulte's global client base includes both Fortune 500 companies and individual entrepreneurs. His international clients are located in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany and Brazil.
Mr. Schulte assists his clients with all areas of intellectual property advising, including trademark and domain name acquisitions and clearances. He prosecutes trademark applications in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and represents clients in Federal Court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board with respect to office action refusals by trademark examiners, third party oppositions and cancellation proceedings.
Mr. Schulte has a broad background to draw upon. He has worked on cases including issues of breach of contract, unfair competition, patent infringement, trademark infringement, copyright infringement, trade secrets, trade dress, franchise agreements, professional malpractice, municipality liability, school district liability, church liability, tribal law, product liability, and insurance law. Mr. Schulte has argued before several courts, both state and federal, including appellate courts, and has handled numerous arbitrations and trials.
Mr. Schulte was selected in 2002 as one of fifteen U.S. young executives to travel to Germany to participate in the German Ministry of Economics and Technology's Transatlantic Program, a business and cultural exchange among business owners and executives in each country. In addition, he has given speeches on trademark law in America, Germany and Croatia.
Mr. Schulte is consistently voted a "Super Lawyer" in Intellectual Property and Top 40 IP lawyer by his colleagues in Minnesota and is listed in the International Who's Who of Trademark Lawyers. He has also achieved an AV peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell.
