Roger's practice focuses solely on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in addition to patentability searches and opinions. His prosecution practice areas include the electrical and mechanical arts as well as software and business methods patents.

Prior to joining Merchant & Gould, Roger was a Research Assistant at Georgia Tech. While at Georgia Tech he conducted research in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells and Chemical Vapor Deposition. In addition to research, Roger also taught courses in experimental engineering, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and thermal systems engineering. In his spare time Roger enjoys photography, aviation and is the holder of a private pilot's license.
