Dr. Hissong practices intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution, opinions, interferences and client counseling for biotech and pharmaceutical clients. He has a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Dr. Hissong has traveled extensively in Japan and Korea, lecturing to both law firms and corporations on U.S. patent law and practice.
