Brian Platt focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation. Brian has represented technology clients in United States District Courts throughout the country, on a variety of intellectual property litigation matters. Prior to his legal career, Brian was a project manager at an engineering firm in Redmond, Washington. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Washington.

Before joining Merchant & Gould, Brian served as a judicial law clerk for United States District Judges Thomas S. Zilly and James L. Robart, in the Western District of Washington, and as a law clerk on loan to United States District Judge Marsha J. Pechman.
