Aaron practices general intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent, trademark, and copyright litigation. Prior to joining Merchant & Gould, Aaron completed a two year Federal clerkship with the Honorable Raymond L. Erickson, Chief Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Prior to his clerkship, Aaron attended law school at the University of Minnesota, where he was a Managing Editor for the Minnesota Law Review. He possesses a background in synthetic organic chemistry and pharmaceutical research, which arises from work in both academic and industrial settings, and he holds a Masters degree in chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
