Virginia State Bar Intellectual Property Law and Litigation Sections Brian practices predominantly in the areas of trademark and copyright infringement and anti-counterfeiting litigation in federal courts throughout the country. He has obtained favorable judgments in numerous trademark and copyright cases, often resulting in monetary recoveries, permanent injunctions and destruction of infringing goods. He frequently litigates domain name disputes under the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. His practice also includes opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ("TTAB") and before similar tribunals in other countries.
Brian has experience in all aspects of trademark prosecution, including clearance opinions, prosecution of trademark applications in the U.S. and in other countries. He counsels clients in all aspects of trademark and copyright law, portfolio management and maintenance, and licensing of intellectual property. Brian's practice areas include Trademark, Copyright, Internet Law, Licensing and Litigation.
