Mark Murphy, Ph.D. Joins Merchant & Gould's Atlanta Office

Intellectual property law firm Merchant & Gould announced that Mark Murphy, Ph.D. has joined the firm as a partner in its Atlanta office.

Murphy was previously a leader of the pharmaceutical practice group at Needle & Rosenberg, worked as a Research Chemist, Group Leader, and inventor for Hoechst Celanese for eleven years, and has several commercialized inventions to his credit. He specializes in pharmaceutical and chemical patent law, including patent drafting and prosecution, opinions, due diligence and early phase litigation.

Murphy received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, a B.S. degree in chemistry from Tulane University and a Ph.D in chemistry, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
