Perspectives on Federal Trade Secret Law: Impact of the DTSA on Your Company

June 8, 2016

Minneapolis, MN

Merchant & Gould

For the first time ever, Congress passed legislation that federalizes trade secret law – the Defend Trade Secrets Act (“DTSA”). The DTSA, signed into law by President Obama on May 11, 2016, creates a new federal cause of action for the misappropriation of confidential trade secret information.

Merchant & Gould will present an informative session to discuss the legal framework of this new federal law and the impact that it will have on businesses and employees.

Please join us for a complimentary CLE and breakfast in Minneapolis to discuss changes and opportunities created by this new law as well as practical applications for business owners.
