Speaker: Rachel Hughey

Rachel is a partner in the Minneapolis office; she practices intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent litigation and appellate level disputes. Rachel is a key team member involved in all elements of trial, including formulating strategy, preparing briefs and pleadings, handling discovery matters, engaging in oral arguments, managing trial issues, and examining witnesses at trial.

Speaker: Rachel Zimmerman

Rachel is a partner in the Minneapolis office; she is an experienced trial lawyer who has handled all aspects of complex intellectual property disputes from investigation and preparation of the complaint through trial, post-trial, and appeal. Rachel’s competitive spirit and analytical thinking skills combined with attention to detail and winning strategies help her deliver favorable resolutions to her clients' problems.

Panelist: Brad Brittain

Brad is a partner in the Knoxville office, his practice is primarily in the area of patent, trademark, unfair competition, copyright and trade secret litigation, and dispute resolution. He also counsels clients regarding various intellectual property-related matters, including the acquisition and protection of trademark rights, and assists clients in the registration of trademarks and copyrights.

Panelist: Ian McFarland

Ian is an associate in the Knoxville office, his practice focuses on intellectual property counseling, enforcement, and litigation encompassing patent, copyright, trademark, false advertising, unfair competition, and trade secret matters. Ian has experience representing clients across a wide array of industries, he also serves on several client service teams charged with the ongoing acquisition, management, and enforcement of global IP portfolios.

Moderator: Jeff Blake

Jeff is a partner in the Atlanta office, where his practice involves all aspects of intellectual property litigation and counseling. His experience includes representation of clients in the pharmaceutical and electrical arts at trial and on appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Jeff is also actively involved in representing clients in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings.
