Two partners from Merchant & Gould's Washington, D.C. office are scheduled to participate in an interactive panel on protecting intellectual property at the Grocery Manufacturers Association 2016 Legal Conference in Rancho Mirage, California.

Matt Fedowitz and Nancy Lutz will team up with food industry corporate representatives for a break-out session titled "Tackle the IP Challenges Faced by Grocery Manufacturers and Retailers" on Feb. 25 at 10:05 a.m.  This session will feature both in-house and outside counsel perspectives and will focus on the best practices for obtaining and enforcing intellectual property rights, managing patent and trademark portfolios, and dealing with related clearance and licensing issues.
