Gabriel Lefkowitz, Concertmaster of the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra
KSO Concertmaster Series Concludes
Violinist, conductor, and composer Gabriel Lefkowitz stars in the third and final installment of this season's KSO Merchant & Gould Concertmaster Series, Gabriel Lefkowitz & Friends, featuring the music of five composers. This concert will take place on Wednesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ann and Steve Bailey Hall of the Knoxville Museum of Art.
The program includes Caprice Basque by Sarasate, Romance by Rachmaninoff, Souvenir by Drdla, Waltz-Scherzo by Tchaikovsky, and String Quartet No.3 by Shostakovich. Gabriel Lefkowitz will be joined by Kevin Class on piano, Gordon Tsai on violin, Kathyrn Gawne on viola, and Andy Bryenton on cello.

Established in 1935, the KSO has contributed to the cultural life in East Tennessee continuously for 80 years, providing excellence in musical and educational programs.
