Merchant & Gould Promotes Two Attorneys to Partners in Denver

Brings greater depth to local leadership and advancement of women

Merchant & Gould is pleased to announce the promotion of Denver attorneys Dana Jozefczyk and Marianne Timm-Schreiber to partner, expanding the firm’s commitment to women leadership and diversity. The promotion was effective Jan. 1, 2018.

Dana specializes in brand management and development, with particular focus on the value and protection of trademarks and copyrights. She works to secure and enforce trademarks and copyrights among a variety of industries, including apparel, consumer electronics, real estate and banking, food and beverage, software, biomedical devices, retail accessories and pet products. In addition, Dana has extensive background in patent prosecution, both domestic and foreign, in the electrical, mechanical and biomedical fields. She has litigated numerous cases at the District Court, Appellate Court and Federal Circuit Court levels.

Marianne’s practice emphasizes client counseling in IP portfolio management, patent prosecution, opinion work, IP due diligence, and trademark and copyright protection. She works in a wide range of industries, from medical devices to clothing manufacturing. Marianne is co-chair of Merchant & Gould’s Due Diligence Group and an active member of the firm’s Diversity Committee.
