Intellectual property law firm moves from #8 to #5 in annual rankings

Merchant & Gould, a leading intellectual property law firm, announced today that it has been ranked number five in a list of the top trademark firms in the United States by Intellectual Property Today. The survey ranked 202 law firms by the number of U.S. trademark registrations issued to the entity in 2013.

Merchant & Gould moves up three slots this year in the survey from number eight to number five. The firm registered 882 trademarks in 2013, an increase of 35.7 percent over 2012.
