Merchant & Gould’s Denver Office Adds Three Attorneys to Team of Leading Intellectual Property Professionals

Merchant & Gould, a leading intellectual property law firm, announced today that attorneys Michael S. Wagner, Danielle K. Morrow and Barton W. Emery joined the firm’s Denver office.

Wagner, a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder Law School, practices with an emphasis on patent prosecution and litigation. Prior to joining Merchant & Gould, he worked with the Colorado Center for Lunar Dust and Atmospheric Studies, a division of the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. In addition to his doctor of law degree, he holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of Colorado.

Morrow, who earned her doctor of law degree from the University of Denver, is also a software engineer with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering; she worked at Northrup Grumman before pursuing a legal career. She is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Emery holds a doctor of law degree from the University of Colorado Law School, where he also earned an Entrepreneurial Law Certificate. After receiving is B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University, Bart joined a Silicon Valley firm specializing in biotechnology patent prosecution, and discovered a passion for intellectual property law. Bart focuses on prosecution, due diligence and clearance in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
