Thirteen Years After Opening Office, Senior Litigator Returns Home
Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property law firm, today announced that Gregg Anderson has rejoined its Denver office. Mr. Anderson, a former managing partner and a co-founder of Merchant & Gould's Denver office, is a senior litigator with more than two decades' experience.

Mr. Anderson has litigated patent cases through trial involving a range of technologies including oil field mud mixing tanks, computer generated file labels, computer tape storage cabinets and molybdenum compounds used for smoke suppression. In the biotechnology area, he has litigated licensing issues related to thrombopoietin receptor agonists and markers for ischemia. In software and networking, Mr. Anderson represented the owner of patented technology relating to downloading updates and bug fixes to networked software over the Internet. He has also obtained injunctive relief for the owner of a patent for facial recognition software. Mr. Anderson is admitted to practice law in both Colorado and California.
Mr. Anderson obtained his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law and has a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from the University of Kansas. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Anderson was a partner at Gordon & Rees LLP in San Diego, CA.
