Merchant & Gould Promotes Two Attorneys to Partner

Intellectual property law firm Merchant & Gould is pleased to announce that it has named William D. Schultz and George C. Lewis, P.E. as partners at the firm.

At the firm's Minneapolis office, William D. Schultz focuses primarily on online trademark and copyright litigation. He has secured the return of hundreds of domain names to trademark owners, and assisted multiple clients on strategies relating to keyword advertising. Mr. Schultz earned his J.D. and undergraduate degree in business and marketing from Drake University.

At the firm's Denver office, George C. Lewis, P.E. practices in the areas of developing and implementing coordinated IP protection strategies for new products and services. He also practices copyright and trademark law for media and entertainment clients in the Rocky Mountain region. Mr. Lewis earned his J.D. from the University of Denver and holds degrees in electrical engineering from Cornell University, and chemical engineering from the University of Colorado.
