Congratulations to Merchant & Gould for being nationally ranked #6 for Trademark Filings for all of 2007, #4 in Q4 and 1st in the Midwest, as reported in Trademark Insider Magazine. The year 2007 marked a new record with 304,407 trademark applications filed with the USPTO, the highest trademark filing volume since 1997 when Trademark Insider began keeping track. Merchant & Gould filed 908 trademark applications with the USPTO in 2007.

As previously noted, Intellectual Property Today ranked M&G #9 in the nation for "Top Trademark Firms" in their May 2008 issue. Also, in the February 2008 issue of Managing IP, M&G was nationally ranked in Tier 3 for patent prosecution and Tier 2 in the Midwest.
