Bill Capp Joins Merchant & Gould's Atlanta Office

Intellectual property law firm Merchant & Gould announced that Bill Capp has joined the firm as a partner in its Atlanta office.

Capp specializes in patent litigation matters involving mechanical, electro-mechanical, chemical and human-factors technologies. He is a registered patent attorney who has represented patentees and accused infringers in bench and jury trials before the U.S. District Courts, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

"Bill's experience as an effective patent litigator is a huge asset to the firm," said Alan Gorman, managing partner of the Atlanta office of Merchant & Gould. "We are excited to have him as part of the Merchant & Gould team."

Capp received his J.D. from Georgia State University and his M.S. from Purdue University. He graduated with a B.S. from the United States Air Force Academy.
