Admission into the Fellows of the ABF is limited to one third of one percent of attorneys in each state. Brent practices trademark, copyright, international intellectual property, advertising, and litigation. Brent is the immediate past president of the Hennepin County Bar Association. Prior to joining Merchant & Gould, he practiced commercial litigation and immigration law in South Florida and worked at the law schools of the Universities of Miami and Georgia. In 2004, Brent was selected by Minnesota Lawyer magazine as an Attorney of the Year.
