Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property and litigation law firm, announced that Andrew J. Lagatta has joined its Minneapolis office as an associate attorney. Andrew practices general intellectual property law with an emphasis on patent prosecution and client counseling.

Andrew's practice focuses primarily on the electrical, software, and mechanical arts. Prior to practicing law, Andrew's professional experience includes working on computer architecture modeling and performance analysis at a semiconductor design and manufacturing company.

Andrew obtained a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Wisconsin, Madison. He holds a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.
