Merchant & Gould, an intellectual property and litigation law firm, announced that Dawn Gardner Krosnick has joined its Washington, DC office as an associate attorney.
Dawn's practice focuses on patent prosecution and patent interference, particularly in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical areas. Dawn has extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting domestic, international and foreign patent applications; performing due diligence investigations; and preparing patentability, non-infringement and freedom to operate opinions. Prior to joining Merchant & Gould, Dawn practiced intellectual property law at a Washington, DC law firm on cases involving genomics (plant and human), pharmaceuticals, and other technologies. Dawn also worked as a Patent Agent and patent attorney at a law firm in Alexandria, Virginia.
Dawn holds a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a M.Phil. degree in genetics from George Washington University. She obtained her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.
