Tadd F. Wilson joins Merchant & Gould in Denver Office

Denver, September 30, 2004 - Intellectual property law firm Merchant & Gould announced that Tadd F. Wilson has joined the firm in its Denver office.

Tadd's practice concentrates on the development and management of patent protection programs that help companies derive a business advantage from their invention, innovation, and imagination. His focus is in helping clients organize and develop well-conceived and focused patent portfolios across a range of technologies.

Prior to law school, Tadd worked for technology companies as a satellite ground systems engineer, a satellite engineer, a power engineer, and a program manager. His education in business management and his experience in the industry have given him an understanding of technology companies, the challenges those companies face, and the opportunities that strong IP portfolio management can provide for those companies.

As a patent attorney, Tadd has developed patents in numerous fields, including electronics, networks and information technology, communications, software, composites, medical devices, business methods, and varying other arts.

Tadd holds a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law, an M.B.A. from Colorado State University, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
