With more than 30 members from 15 states and Canada, May 2015 marks the first anniversary of the Intellectual Property Institute of the Litigation Counsel of America, an honorary society of trial lawyers.
The main goal of the Intellectual Property Institute is to create a North American network of accomplished IP trial attorneys who share winning strategies, thus creating an unmatched body of experience for members-only access. Andrew Berger of Tannenbaum Helpern, Kara Cenar of Greensfelder, and Allen Hinderaker of Merchant & Gould are the founding members.
Merchant & Gould’s Allen Hinderaker is a 1974 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. He has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America by The Best Lawyers in America from 2010-2015. He has been dubbed a Minnesota Super Lawyer from 2003-2015.
The Litigation Counsel of America is a peer-selected, aggressively diverse honorary society of 3,500 trial lawyers. Its members make up less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers; they are vigorously vetted for skills, expertise and service. This invitation-only collegial network of lawyers represents clients across North America and around the world.
