Merchant & Gould, a leading intellectual property firm, announced today that it has been ranked as a Top Patent Firm by the publication Intellectual Property Today (I.P. Today). This year Merchant & Gould was ranked 34 out of 271 firms.

I.P. Today ranked patent firms according to the number of utility patents issued where the firm was listed as the legal representative on the patent in 2014. Merchant & Gould was listed as the legal representative on 1,243 patents, including 76 design patents and 1,167 utility patents.
