Loretta brings over 10 years of experience in law and 11 years of experience in engineering to the table. As an engineer for 3M, she worked hand-in-hand with inventors drafting patent applications that covered every aspect of their inventions. And now, as a successful attorney, she partners with businesses and inventors to protect their IP on a global scale.
Loretta offers her legal support to clients throughout the mechanical arts space and in industries such as telecommunications, hydraulics, aerospace fields and manufacturing. She also helps businesses with design-heavy legal needs, such as those in retail, protect the appearance and aesthetics of their products.
Her success in mechanical arts and design has led her to become a co-chair of the Design Patent & Trade Dress group within Merchant & Gould.
In addition to her leadership roles, Loretta is an award-winning attorney, earning a spot within The National Black Lawyers Top 100 every year since 2015, as well as the Top 40 Under 40 from 2015 to 2019. She’s also a new member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
