Michael (Mike) Lukon is a seasoned patent attorney with Merchant & Gould’s Knoxville office. With over 20 years of experience as an IP attorney, Mike’s patent and trademark practice covers a wide range of commercial sectors.

Mike’s background also enables him to perform a deep dive into your technology and the existing space as part of clearing products and determining whether redesign is necessary. He also assists with the redesign process and provides patentability and trademark searching to determine whether a product/process may be patented or trademarked.

Mike has a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. He also has a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University.
