A Software Engineer Who Understands the Tech Behind Your Invention
Sheila worked with Microsoft as a Senior Student Partner, creating and leading technical workshops, building apps and developing websites. She was also a Software Engineer for the SRF Consulting Group, Inc. where she developed apps to assist with GIS and CAD utilities and performed full-stack development for a variety of applications.
All this boils down to the fact that Sheila understands what it’s like to be in your shoes. She understands how difficult it can be to articulate all aspects of an invention or idea. Putting on her engineer hat, she can help you frame your property in a way to ensure complete protection.
Sheila brings a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science to the table as well as a J.D. with a Certification in Patent Law. She also gathered over 150 service hours with the Minnesota Justice Foundation, a program that helps low-income Minnesotans receive critical legal counsel.
Her background coupled with her legal knowledge allows her to approach patent issues in innovative ways. Your critical intellectual property deserves no less.
In her spare time, Sheila enjoys running (she’s a 7-time marathon runner), reading, cooking and rock climbing.
