Stephen is a litigator in Merchant & Gould’s Madison office. He represents clients in complex intellectual property matters including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets, with an emphasis on patent litigation relating to pharmaceutical products under the Hatch Waxman Act, mechanical devices, and electronics. Stephen has represented clients in courts across the country, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and U.S. District Courts in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Wisconsin, and Nevada, among others.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP in Chicago. He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2009, and his B.A. in Biology from Kalamazoo College in 2005. Outside of his practice, Stephen enjoys skiing, cycling, boating, and kitesurfing.
