Tarik supports US-based and international companies. He understands that each are unique and requires a specific approach. Whether you require complete counseling and portfolio development or a single patent filing, Tarik can deliver.

From the Lab to Law

Before journeying into law, Tarik received his Bachelor of Science in Metallurgy, a Master of Science in Materials Science and a Ph.D. in Electrochemistry.

Tarik started his career as an Environmental Consultant, where he researched nano-technology and environmental remediation. However, Tarik discovered that patent law gives him the opportunity to use his technical knowledge and the law to allow creators to protect and benefit from their intellectual property.

Supporting Clients With Knowledge & Timeliness

Tarik knows that the successful drafting and prosecution of patents requires in-depth knowledge of the novel product or inventive idea. As such, Tarik places a high priority on educating himself on the new subject matter before moving forward. As a result, the client has someone knowledgeable in their corner who understands their IP needs and goals.

Tarik also prides himself in being timely when completing his assigned tasks as IP protection entails the exact adherence to a strict timeline. Tarik also communicates with his clients often so they always know what to expect and feel supported during the entire patenting process.

Tarik is fluent in both French and Arabic. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family.
