Merchant & Gould Welcome Attorneys

Merchant & Gould is pleased to welcome two attorneys to its legal team, spanning two offices.  The new hires include Zach Kachmer in Denver and Lindsay Jones in Minneapolis.

“These two attorneys bring IP experience in growing industries for Colorado and Minnesota, adding depth to our practice groups and helping our clients protect their brands.  They are excellent additions to our firm, and we are excited to welcome them,” said Chris Leonard, Managing Director, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Merchant & Gould.

Zach Kachmer, associate, joined the Electrical & Software Practice Group in Denver.  Before then, he was a legal intern for DigitalGlobe in Westminster, Colo., and a reservoir engineer for Red Rocks Oil and Gas in Oklahoma City.  Zach earned his J.D. from University of Colorado Law School, and a B.S. in chemical and biochemical engineering from Brown University.

Lindsay Jones, associate, joined the Trademark Practice Group in Minneapolis.  Previously, she was a law clerk for EntrePartner Law Firm in Minneapolis; a legal affairs intern for the Minnesota Vikings Football; a licensing and partnerships intern for Rhymesayers Entertainment in Minneapolis; and a corporate partnerships intern for Minnesota Timberwolves Basketball.  Lindsay earned her J.D. from University of Minnesota Law School, as well as a B.S. in sports management (with a legal focus), with a minor in business management, from University of Minnesota.
