Merchant &amp; Gould is proud to announce that associate attorney Marra Clay has been named a 2025 Up &amp; Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer.

<a></a>In the few years that Marra has been practicing, she has carved a path for herself in IP law. At Merchant &amp; Gould, she regularly partners with inventors, marketing professionals and entrepreneurs to solve complex problems. Marra went to trial just three months after entering private practice and then successfully briefed and won multiple post-trial motions.

<a></a>Marra has a heart for serving others. She demonstrates this at work as a member of Merchant’s Pro Bono Committee. Outside of the firm, she is an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School, helps the Children’s Law Center of Minnesota with pro bono work and service on a committee, represents kids in the Minnesota foster care system, volunteers as a mock trial judge and attends community events to educate entrepreneurs about IP law.
