She also thrives on the ever-changing landscape of IP, as it provides her with continuous opportunities to learn new things and develop her skills.

Angela’s journey to becoming an IP paralegal at Merchant &amp; Gould is one of happenstance. Unclear about which career path to take, she took office administration classes during her time at Roane State Community College in Tennessee. The curriculum contained legal courses, and this sparked her interest in the legal field.

Working at a law firm before earning her Associate’s degree in 1981, Angela went on to work at a few different law firms before starting at an IP firm in 2001. In 2011, she joined Merchant &amp; Gould as an IP Paralegal and has become an invaluable team member.

At Merchant &amp; Gould, Angela is grateful to work with a collaborative, generous team that’s always ready to give support to others. From their dedication to client satisfaction to their diligent work ethic, she knows there’s no better firm to take care of your IP.

Born and raised in Tennessee, Angela’s devotion to servicing communities is apparent outside of her professional life as well. She’s highly involved in her church, singing in their choir and supporting their community and foreign missions along with her husband.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with her family, gardening and going on hikes.
