Brian’s professional journey began with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. But it was his work as a patent examiner that ignited a love for intellectual property law, leading him to seek a law degree.&nbsp;

As an associate for the Atlanta office of Merchant &amp; Gould, Brian has showcased his knowledge in many aspects of prosecution. These include drafting provisional patent applications, engaging with inventors to highlight critical features, and corresponding with foreign associates.&nbsp;

In addition, his knack for drafting persuasive responses to office actions enables him to make a compelling case for patentability for his clients.&nbsp;

Brian was born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, tennis, golf and spending time with his wife.
