With a background in engineering and business development, Chris brings a practical, commercial perspective to intellectual property. As an associate in the firm’s Denver office, he helps clients identify and protect valuable innovations with their broader business objectives in mind.
Before entering the legal profession, Chris started his career in industrial automation and enterprise software before helping commercialize wildfire prevention technology originally licensed from Stanford University. In that role, he collaborated with utilities, railroads, and government agencies to help bring the technology to market.
Outside the office, Chris is an avid skier in the winter and a mountain biker in the summer. When sitting still, he enjoys practicing electric guitar.
