Kate Motta is the Director of Organizational Development in the firm’s Boston office, where she focuses on strengthening the employee experience, supporting firmwide development initiatives, and helping teams navigate organizational change. She works closely with firm leadership, attorneys, and staff to build programs and processes that support collaboration, professional growth, and long-term organizational success.

Kate brings more than two decades of experience in law firm administration, human resources, and professional development. Throughout her career, she has partnered with firm leaders on talent strategy, performance management, training, employee engagement, and organizational planning. She has also led major change initiatives, helping firms introduce new systems, improve internal processes, and communicate effectively through periods of growth and transition.

With experience spanning both people strategy and broader law firm operations, Kate brings a practical understanding of how culture, communication, and organizational structure work together. She is particularly passionate about creating environments where employees have the tools, support, and opportunities they need to grow and do their best work. Outside of work, Kate can be found skiing with her family, working on her garden and attending the sports and activities of her three children.
