Kevin Mosier is an associate in Merchant &amp; Gould’s Boston office, where he focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation. He represents clients in patent, trade secret, and trademark disputes before federal district courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the International Trade Commission, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. His litigation experience spans a range of industries and technologies, with a focus on aligning legal strategy with business outcomes.

Kevin’s recent work includes successfully defending a payment services technology company in a patent infringement suit in the District of Delaware, where he served as third-chair trial counsel and helped to secure a full affirmance of the trial victory on appeal before the Federal Circuit. He also helped secure a multimillion-dollar recovery for a scientific instrumentation supplier in a trade secret misappropriation case. Clients value Kevin’s collaborative approach, attention to detail, and ability to navigate high-stakes disputes from early strategy through trial.

Before entering private practice, Kevin worked at the Massachusetts Board of Medicine, where he advised the Board in licensure enforcement proceedings and the development of regulatory policies for controlled substances. He earned his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where he served as a Note Editor and member of the Article Selection Committee for the Suffolk University Law Review.

Kevin is an active member of the Federal Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association, and the IP Inn of Court. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch®&nbsp;and Massachusetts Rising Stars&nbsp;for his work in IP and patent litigation.
